Happy Monday people of the blogosphere! 

Yesterday I made a few little changes to my blog and I’m loving all the feedback I’ve been getting so I wanted to say thank you for your kind words!

Some tiny changes I’ve made- There is now more material on my sidebar! I decided to enable a few more widgets through WordPress. I’ve added my Twitter and Instagram feed, recent posts I’ve liked, my follower count, and a follow button! I also decided to switch up the look of my ‘archive’ and ‘categories’ sections. Instead of appearing as a list they are now in the form of a drop-down menu. I decided to do this because I’ve been blogging for over a year now and the list was just starting to get overwhelming. In a drop-down, all the content is much more organized and easy to find.

Finally, I wanted to share my e-mail with you all! ..And I’m so happy I did! I’ve already gotten a couple really great messages from some of my followers and am looking forward to receiving more! Don’t be shy! 

There is one thing I am still looking to change though- Does anyone know how to make the sidebar scroll with the page? That way as the reader continues to explore my blog, the sidebar and all the content will follow? If you have any suggestions or hacks help a sista out!!

Much needed on a Monday like today.

I stumbled upon this 3 hour long video of ocean waves. I am normally not one for the “sounds of nature” gimmicks. But, I have to admit, this is very relaxing. I will definitely be falling asleep to it tonight.

Music Monday!

The Lumineers recently gained popularity for their single, “Ho Hey“, but that’s hardly the best song on their album. If this is the only song you’ve heard by them, I strongly recommend you listen to the rest of their album, it’s amazing. I haven’t listened to an album in the longest time where I can genuinely say I enjoy every single song. Their sound is eclectic and raw and truly a treat to listen to. Enjoy!

This music video might make some people uncomfortable, but I think it’s ballsy and awesome. It inspires you to break free from the everyday routine and just live your life. The protagonist of the video is bad-ass and really comes into her own as the song progresses. Watch and comment!

I’m not sure how I stumbled upon this song, but it’s awesome. The melody starts off soft and then progressively gets louder and more involved. I’m really feeling it this Monday, I hope you enjoy it too. (P.S. by clicking the picture you can listen to the song on YouTube)
