Happy Monday people of the blogosphere!

Yesterday I made a few little changes to my blog and I’m loving all the feedback I’ve been getting so I wanted to say thank you for your kind words!

Some tiny changes I’ve made- There is now more material on my sidebar! I decided to enable a few more widgets through WordPress. I’ve added my Twitter and Instagram feed, recent posts I’ve liked, my follower count, and a follow button! I also decided to switch up the look of my ‘archive’ and ‘categories’ sections. Instead of appearing as a list they are now in the form of a drop-down menu. I decided to do this because I’ve been blogging for over a year now and the list was just starting to get overwhelming. In a drop-down, all the content is much more organized and easy to find.

Finally, I wanted to share my e-mail with you all! ..And I’m so happy I did! I’ve already gotten a couple really great messages from some of my followers and am looking forward to receiving more! Don’t be shy!

There is one thing I am still looking to change though- Does anyone know how to make the sidebar scroll with the page? That way as the reader continues to explore my blog, the sidebar and all the content will follow? If you have any suggestions or hacks help a sista out!!

Food Tripping

Since we’re already on the subject of going green, I thought I’d share a new app I recently downloaded. It’s called Food Tripping, and I love it! The app was created by the stud from the show Entourage (In real life he goes by Adrian Grenier) and his friend, Peter Glatzer.

The goal? To lead you to the closest healthy eateries, farmer’s markets, juice joints, and vegan spots all over the US via GPS technology!

Why is this app so great? Because it’s a collaborative effort between the founders, Ford (the duo recently teamed up with the auto company), and the community of people who use the app. This ensures that the spots are not only accurate, but current.

I live in a small town in Michigan, so I was a little hesitant to download this, thinking that it was meant for bigger, more conscious cities. I extremely underestimated how useful this app would be! Food Tripping has led me to over 10 new places that I had never heard of, and now I’m sure to become a regular. Download this app! (<–Are you hearing me? Seriously, download it!)

2013 Ford Focus Electric Car

It’s finally happening!

I am so proud (If you can say that about a billion dollar company) that Ford is embracing the change it wishes to see in the world. Ford’s new Focus is sleek, affordable, and most importantly efficient! I got a flyer in the mail today encouraging me to check out the movement online, but I’m already sold. Ford has always been known as a pioneer in the car industry, and now their legacy will continue for generations to come. It’s not just a smart move to go green, but it’s the right one. *applause*
